An idea is the beginning to the lifetime of possibilities.

One of the most important lessons I have been taught since I have been here (three weeks so far) is: Do Not Be Afraid To Make Mistakes. With that, what I’m being told is, if and when you have an idea, implement it. Only by doing so will you grow to understand and master what it is you want to do. As I sit at my desk ready to work, I hope that first word of wisdom brought to you by RedEye Post, stays with you for a lifetime.

Now, to keep the brain healthy and working you need to eat. My co-workers would laugh at the idea that I’m giving this advice because I’ve have been seen eating very little.  Just some granola bars and orange juice!

Well, today I have rice and brown stew chicken, lunch from home. I HAVE EATEN!!! My poor little body must be having an internal malfunction from this new environment and new food. But it hasn’t begun to show yet so I guess I’m ok. I cannot brag how much RedEye is and will change my life.  I literally feel like a new individual; using terms and sources I have never used before. Well, before I am fired from being an intern, let me get back to work!

I AM MISS HARDWORKING.

It feels great to be almost done with an assignment. The media industry requires long hours of working, researching, editing, planning, and organizing. Also, long hours.  Did I mention the long hours? There are long hours. These women in this office have not stopped working since I walked in, eating at their desk still completing work.

RedEye I must say with all truth is a company based on professionalism.

I bet you could not have imagined that Laura was out the office today. Well she is, and it seems as if she is still here. The order and dedication is still here. While I write this blog, may I take the liberty of commending you, Laura Douglas, on the exceptional staff you have chosen and the example they follow: Yours.

Have you ever been at a place where you feel as though you can see your progress? This is where I am.

I have completed my certificates for Vacation Bible School.

My days’ work…. I feel accomplished.

Reading your excerpt reminded me of a site I checked out this morning for Cassidy. I was seeking a way for her to keep math in her mind this summer and came across :
    http://www.khanacademy.org
This metaphysicist/math guru quit his high paying job as hedge fund manager to start a non profit that helps us all learn math in straighforward style, but using YouTube. In short ten minute lessons, he teaches a topic—today for Cassidy was turning fractions into decimals. She sat, she watched, she learned. Funny, so did I. Check it out and find out that just like Beyoncia (sp?), the learning is just beginning.

Checked out the site like you suggested!! I saw the different topics in math, and for a second my brain was turned off.(laughing) However!…. I watched a few of the videos, and it wasn’t as awful as I thought!! Thanks a ton, now there is hope for me in the world of math.
