Living in Washington DC gives you a lot of opportunities to take advantage of the outdoUnknownors. Yes, I said outdoors. Why watch a movie inside on an old moldy couch when you could enjoy a great classic on fresh green grass with many other DMV residents. “DC Outdoor Films” was created for residents in the DC, Maryland and Virginia area to enjoy great classics on historical landscape. DC outdoor films show films from the original Cinderella to new movies like The Hunger Games. A resident from Arlington VA created this program just for the love of the outdoors and city living combined. Their website DCOutdoorfilms.com gives you a full schedule of each movie playing in each location available. The website schedules every two to three months at a time so times are subject to change due to complications such as weather. Each movie is free to the public; unfortunately food is not served during the movie. So clear your schedules for this weekend and enjoy one of your favorite movies with great people in a great city. Each movie starts 30 minutes after sundown, typically towards the end of the week but each location varies in show times. Grab a comfy blanket, pack some snacks and make a date this weekend with DC Outdoor films!
