RedEye arrived to Georgetown University thrilled to finish shooting the final scenes of a project we started earlier that day. Everyone was tired and drained from working hard all morning. Working fast and efficient is “our” motto! Being able to work with “Center for Children and Families” was an honor. We had interviews on top of interviews all morning. Next up was the final sit down interview with the Provost in his very own office right in the middle of GeorgetownUniversity
Everyone involved in the shoot had a positive attitude. Every few seconds a new joke was being told, although not all jokes were exactly funny, including my own! During the final interview the interns were sent outside to watch over the vehicles. It may not sound like a huge responsibility but, trust me it was. It was a great sense of relief after noticing the cars were still outside and not towed away but, the great feeling was short-lived after we noticed three small white tickets on the window shields. After the small disappointment we noticed the clouds above. Only a few clouds in the sky and, yet still no sign of sun. Time flew on by because shortly after, the team walked outside and everyone helped load up the cars to go home. What a successful shoot today but, hold on the day had one more surprise in store for us. The clouds decided to multiply in seconds and rain started to pour as soon as we were done loading up the cars! Living in DC for only a few days showed me rain is no longer a surprise but simply just inevitable
