The team here at RedEye Post sure is having one busy summer! We’ve currently wrapped up several projects and already have new ones under way!
Lending a Hand to Local Law Enforcement
As mentioned in the previous report, we have been producing training videos for local law enforcement on behalf of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. We just finished up the fourth and final installment which helps officials learn more about the available resources for them to use when working on a case. These resources include The CyberTipline, and the Child Victim Identification Program. RedEye is proud to be able to make it easier for NCMEC to share these sources with officials to help protect and save the most vulnerable of children. It’s truly been a great working experience, and we’re glad to lend a hand to helping a greater good.
Honoring Simpson
For the past 7 years, RedEye has worked with National Park Trust in producing their annual Bruce F. Vento Public Service Award commemorative video. The award is given to a member of Congress who has a remarkable record to preserving national parks and lands. This year’s recipient is Mike Simpson of Idaho’s 2nd Congressional District.
Congratulations Simpson!

Another project brought to us by National Park Trust was the PSA for National Kids To Parks Day – A day dedicated to get kids out of the house and outside to play. The PSA features the NFL Players Association to motivate kids to get out there and play! The piece ended up being featured on the First Lady’s blog, “Let’s Move”!

Fashion, Retail, and Podcasts, Oh My!
Remember how we mentioned that Podcasts would be the next big thing for your business? Well RedEye just produced several Podcasts for a DC-based law firm, with offices all around the country, on the legals behind the fashion & retail industry in Fashion Council. These pieces touch on various issues affecting the industry, like wages, building codes, uniforms, benefits, and visiting executives. Who knew that fashion had so many rules (that aren’t meant to be broken)? We’re also in the process of producing a second Podcast series focused on the legalese behind intellectual property. You can catch some of the podcasts here.
Voices Will Still Be Heard!
We’ve just finished wrapping up the latest season of BET’s Lift Every Voice. Some of the new interviews include: Kandi Burruss of Real Housewives of Atlanta fame, where she reveals the kickback from the Church community after releasing her new Gospel single. Also from RHOA, Peter Thomas talks about how he’s not really as bad a guy as he’s made out to be. Sheree Fletcher, the Hollywood-Ex turned First Lady talks about how she came to be saved, and Gospel Legend Dorinda Clark-Cole shares her infinite wisdom. Keep a lookout for when to catch the episodes online if you miss them when they air. Check local listings.
What’s Next?
As we’re starting to shift gears, our next project is a training video for First Responders during natural disasters. This will touch on lessons learned from Haiti, Katrina, and the Boxing Day Tsunami. We also look forward to working with past and new clients in the fall!
