“I’m going to wave my hands at  you guys. And you guys stare at me like I’m crazy. Okay?”

At this point, my friends did really stare at me like I was crazy.

I’ve created a video for RedEye Post as my final project. I was in charge throughout all procedure from brainstorming to editing.

First of all: story.

I was inspired by a video called ‘Follow the Frog’ that I watched in ‘Campaigning for a Cause’ lecture through the Washington Center. Today EVERYONE seems to be using video and social media. But does everyone really know how to create a video? No. And sometimes the best way is the easiest way: look for experts. I wanted to show this simple idea through a video by presenting lists of things that can (possibly) happen to you if you start to make a video on your own!

Second: tools.

All shots were filmed with my iPhone. Camera directors include myself and my awesome friends who still think that I’m fooling them and not actually creating a video for RedEye.

Last but not least: thanks to…

There were SO many people who supported and encouraged me to create this video. First thanks to Laura and Valeria for cleaning all your desks so I could successfully shoot b-rolls. They were supportive throughout the semester and gave me opportunity to create a video on my own which was an amazing experience.

Thanks to Lily! My friend who’s also an intern at RedEye Post (the best intern in the world). I can’t thank her enough for staying by my side and encouraging me all the time. She knew exactly when I needed to take breaks and relax a little.

Thanks to everyone in the video and those who filmed me! My friends had to follow my weird directions and film me do random stuff. Without complaint, they were willing to take several takes and were even very eager to get better shots.

And most importantly, the answer to the question “Where Can I Make the Best Videos?”

is of course,

RedEye Post!
