RedEye Post takes Interns from across the U.S. Under their Wings

REDEYE POST HOSTS TWO INTERNS FROM ACROSS THE U.S.

ALEXANDRIA, VA. June 9th, 2016- Every summer our nation’s capital hosts thousands of interns from across the world. As RedEye Post enters its 15^th year in the multi-media industry, they are eager to welcome their new crop of go-getters. “This has been a staple of RedEye’s mission since its founding in January 2002,” says president Laura Douglas.

This is an opportunity for new faces to enter the workforce and have a hands-on experience in a professional boutique environment.

“I cannot believe that I am a able to work in an inclusive environment with a company that enjoys incorporating interns into the multimedia field,” says Reece.

Each intern has a special niche in the workplace and will be practicing self- sufficiency in a post production environment. The first intern Ryan West graduated from the University of the Ozark in Arkansas with a degree in Radio and Television. The second intern is Janay Reece who is a rising senior from Winthrop University in South Carolina studying to earn a degree in Mass Communications. Janay and Ryan both have experience in video/audio editing, script writing, social media, and broadcast production. The interns will be working on:

• Redesigning the website and demo reel
• Being a good PA/grip
• Tech Talk workshops

“I am excited to work in a professional environment, begin the transition into the workforce brand my skills and get to know some people in the industry,” says West.
