Apps 2: RoadMovies

Imagine, you are traveling to such nice places, surrounded by elegant antique buildings, with family or your close friends and the weather is awesome. What are you going to do? I’m sure you’ll want to treasure these beautiful moments. For this, I have a surprisingly awesome application to recommend to all of you. Let’s say that it is time for anyone to be a movie director.

There is an application that can help us create a cool movie in addition to Vine and 8mm. I’m sure this one is much easier and interesting to use for everyone since Vine is limited to 6 sec and 8mm looks a bit professional.

This application is called RoadMovies and is created by the car company, Honda Motor Co.,Ltd., but you don’t need a car to shoot the film with this app 😀 Unfortunately, this application can only be downloaded from iTunes. For Android users, I’m sorry 🙁

The application size is 13.5 MB and comes in English and Japanese languages. It is compatible with iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, and iPod touch (5th generation). This app is optimized for iPhone 5. You know what? This awesome application is just free!! $0 for the coolest thing ever! Just go get it!

RoadMovies is very simple and easy to use like the iPhone itself. So anyone can shoot the film. You can put the iPhone on your Grandma’s hand. Maybe she can shoot you way better than you think! RoadMovies will make you an awesome director with a few functions. There are only a few steps you can follow and you can create your own special video.

First step,

Download RoadMovies from iTunes and install it (Sorry again to Android users :-P).

Second step,

Open it 😀 then, you will see the screen like this image.

 Third step,

Select a record type. There are 3 types which are 24 shots in 24 second(1sec per shot), 12 shots in 28 second(2sec per shot)and 8 shots in 24 second(3sec per shot).

 Fourth step,

Shoot it ~! You can just touch the button and it will be recording.

Fifth step,

Add effects from the filter that makes the scene look nicer and better (I recommend Holga!).

 There is also background music that you can put in your movie. You know, music makes the film come alive! Now, you won’t miss your precious memories with RoadMovies. Oh! Don’t forget to share your work on Facebook and Youtube!
